Apple Red Chief

We have over a thousand tons of apple variety red chief available for the 2017 season. This is the well-known variety of red apple with its characteristic taste. Due to specific climatic conditions and soil composition in Peloponnese, the fruits in this particular region are characterized by intense flavor and high nutritional value.

Potatoes

We provide quality potatoes of spunta variety,of exceptional and unique taste. They are cultivated in the area of Arcadia in crop land of 5000 acres.

Ηoney

We provide honey of excellent quality from the region of Arcadia, Peloponnese. Varieties: thyme, flowers and fir. It is packaged in vazes of 250 ml, 500ml, 1kg.

Οlive Oil

Premium certified PDO extra virgin oil produced in Messinia,Peloponnese.The fruit is picked by hand and the oil is produced by cold pressing method. The local climate, the area of cultivation and the  quality of the soil guarantee low acidity, excellent nutritional values and unique taste.

Chestnut

We merchandise the darκ brown chestnut, wich grows in altitudes higher than 650 meters and is being cultivated in mountainous Arcadia in central Peloponnese.

It constitutes one of the most nutritional fruits, rich in vitamin (C and B) and minerals, and is commonly used in baby food industry. It is also used in professional cooking and pastry production and in chestnut flour production.

Broccoli


It is cultivated in Arcadia, cantral Peloponnese, Greece. We merchandise the broccoli with the green flowerhead. It is well known for its anti-cancer action and nutriotional value. It is used in cooking.

Broccoli is being conservated in 0ºC, for two to four weeks after its harvest time.

 Walnut

Walnut is a popular nut. The fruit consist of the round hard testa, and the interior, and the walnut kernel, which is eatable part. It can be cultivated in various climate conditions and soil composition, and It is used in cooking or pastry making (fresh, dried or cooked).

Pomegranate

We cooperate with producers who cultivate the three more popular varietys of Pomegranate, “Afrata”, “Wonderful”, “Akko”. They are easy to peel, with sweet seeds and 5-12 cm fruit size. It grows in warm areas and valleys and it is cultivated in Lakonia, Peloponnese. The fruit has a strong antioxidant action. It is used in professional cooking and pastry production, in alcohol beverages and also in cosmetics industry.

Apple

In the wider area of Peloponnese lots of different varieties of apple are cultivated. The most polpular one is the “Apple Pilafa” variety, a local PDO variety, hybrid from an American Golden Russer variety and an old local one. Also starking, red chief, fuji, jonagored, Jonagold, golden delicious are cultivated. The apple tree grows mostly in cold and wet areas. It requires cool summer and withstands in very low temperatures, climate prevailing in mountainous and hilly areas of the Peloponnese.

Carrot

The carrot of the variety of “Aiginis” has conical shape and orange color. Carrots are produced in the wider area of Viotia, in central Greece. It is one of the most popular vegetable for everyday consumption, given the multiple benefits in human body (vitamin B, anticancer action). 

The production is conserved by hydrocooling process. The product is available in sacks of 5 or 10 kilograms.

Apricot

Apricot’s core is wooden and hard and the flesh orange-yellow, sweet and juicy. It is rich in vitamin A, C and B, natural sweeteners and fibers. It can be consumed fresh and dried. It is popular as jam flavor, juice and liquor. The seeds of the core look like almonds, are bitter tasted and they are used in pharmaceuticals.

Sour Cherry 

Sour cherry of Tripolis is a variety which is cultivated in Αrcadia, Peloponnese. It has a distinctive sweet and sour taste and deep red color. It is well known for its beneficial effects in human body, namely the strong anti-toxic action and probably cancer prevention. It is used widely in pastry making and in confectionery (especially in the production of syrup and jam), in the production of liquor, beer and other alcoholic beverages, juices and refreshments.

Kalamon Olives
Kalamon Olives

"Kalamata olives" is the famous greek variety of olives wich is cultivated in southern Peloponnese in greece. They constitute one of the key ingredient of the Mediterranean diet with great nutritional value. The fruit contains oil and proteins, minerals (such as iron, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus) and remarkable percentage of calcium, which exceeds that of other fruits and vegetables.They accompany salads and main dishes. They have a long conservation period, which lasts over six months from harvest time.

Oregano 

It is the most popular herb in Greece and recognizable worldwide. It has a strong spicy aroma and taste and is derived from the bush of oregano. Αfter harvested from mountain Parnonas and Taygetos,central Pelloponnese, it is traditionally hand-dried and packed. Available in small paper bags of 30-60 grams for retail or in sacks of 12 kg. Widely used in cooking.
